The Eagle Scout Association - Sam Houston Area Council is a fellowship of men who have achieved the Eagle Scout rank who desire to use their efforts and influence toward forming the kind of young men America needs for leadership. Membership is open to all Eagle Scouts; there is no charge to join. The ESA-SHAC is a Sam Houston Area Council committee affiliated with the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA).

Networking Breakfast

The Eagle Scout Alumni Networking Breakfast is an opportunity for professional and entrepreneurial networking. Meet other Eagles Scouts in your area of business, and bring plenty of business cards for networking! The cost of the breakfast is $20 to offset expenses.

Join other Eagle Scout alumni in a comfortable, relaxing setting; enjoy camaraderie and network with fellow Eagles. The event is held at Jax Grill at 1613 Shepherd Drive 77007 at 5:30 pm. Please RSVP to Rob Bartlett.

New Eagle Scout Reception

Sunday, April 2, 2017 - 2pm

The New Eagle Scout Reception recognizes the previous year’s Eagle Scout class. The council continues its tradition of providing this reception free of charge for new Eagle Scouts and his guests. The evening is underwritten with generous sponsorships by many Eagle Scout alumni, charter members and patrons.

Eagle Scouts are needed to help volunteer and sponsor the event.

2017 NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award

The NESA Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA) is a prestigious recognition given to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at the local, state or regional level. Distinct from the National Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, this award recognizes Eagle Scouts whose efforts have made a positive impact closer to home and who have distinguished themselves in their life’s work--sharing talents with their communities on a volunteer basis.

The intent of this award is to recognize men who have devoted a lifetime to their profession, avocation, community and beliefs--at a sacrifice to themselves and their families. Congratulations to the following recipients for 2017:
